Criminal record
The correct document is the Criminal Record Certificate No. 03 (as identified by the Algerian consular authorities). For Algeria, the safest route is usually not a general apostille, but diplomatic/consular legalisation. If the certificate is issued in Arabic or French, it should be accompanied by a sworn translation into Spanish.
To avoid requests for additional documentation, it is advisable to submit the criminal record certificate issued within the last 3 months, duly apostilled or legalised and, where applicable, with a sworn translation into Spanish.
With Algerian procedures, the biggest risk is not only obtaining the document, but completing the legalisation + sworn translation chain within a timeframe that remains useful for immigration.
